Reflection on Progress

My progress through IT has been strong but there are areas that I can improve. I did Dreamweaver good when I added the features I learn't so that I can make it an appropriate website, Last previous terms I had to do tasks that I had to add on my wiki spaces account which I did it well adding all the things I need, I had designed my wiki spaces design and all tasks were published on it as well, I have also put all my required reflections on blogger. On IT tech fair I should have put more effort on my design and made it earlier so that I can hand it in time which didn't as I handed it in 1 week after the Tech Fair. I have thought of an improvement for the IT tech fair project I made which was a box that view I could view on my laptop, I could improve it making remote controlled adding wheels at the bottom and making the camera wireless connected so that it can be almost be like a spy car. I could also bring in a USB to IT class to save work that I can complete at home; I could also stop the amount of talking in class as that distracts me at times. I feel I can do much a lot better next year in Year 8 if I correct my mistakes and fix them. I feel happy as well because on my report card for IT I got a 6/7 which is still good.  

Reflection on Creation

Now I have completely finished my website. I have found out another feature to add a new page with pictures on it to give people an idea of the destruction the Natural Disasters make and what they look like. It was easy to get the website looking like How I wanted it to be, but the features I had learn't was a bit hard to get them into action on my website as sometimes they weren't working or I forgot, but later onward it got better and I was able to create my website like I wanted it to be

Design

I've decided to make it an article type of website and it'll be informative with loads of information on each side telling about the impacts and an Informative video, with images and to spread the awareness. And also I might include opinions of others and what they think about Natural Disasters and what do you think might happen and how to prevent or stop the disasters/ what the community does to help prevent disasters.

How this is related to AOI

I feel web designing and information based on the topic is related to the AOI (Area of Interaction) which is communication because it can warn someone on something bad that can happen and the steps and procedures from being safe from it. It can also spread awareness so that the person can correct their mistakes they're making and what bad affect it has on our environment and then at least try to save it from being endangered, that is based on the Environment. In cases of Natural Disasters which is a much more serious issue, communication is needed to inform the person to do a safety procedure and  avoid being killed. Communication is related to our AOI in many ways that can warn people.

Reflection on Communication

I felt like this activity makes us understand more about communication what the different types of it are there and how it can actually help others. It also improves my researching skills to look up the answers and then combine information I got from sources and gives me a good understanding. This has made me relise that communication is not only to have fun and just talk, but it is something that people can spread awareness and emotions or feelings. So communication is an important skill that we have.

Reflection on Features I learn't

My main goal is to create a website that I can inform people about Natural Disasters through online communication so to do that I use Dreamweaver. And to create a website I need to understand Dreamweaver first which was a good experience investigating and it really can work. I learnt all of those features by experimenting with Dreamweaver and see what that particular feature does. Or for complicated features like inserting videos I use youtube and reliable sources or maybe the product's official site and I found out that I copy the video embed code and then I go to Dreamweaver and then click the part I want to insert it in then open html and see where it is then remove nbsp and add the video embed code there. Dreamweaver is a good program that can create websites and can make a difference to other people making them aware of consequences.
